Where The Animals Go--Through The Willows & Aspen Toward Lundy Creek
Where The Animals Go—Glimpses Into Hidden Worlds
Images from Where The Animals Go Series are made while I follow animal paths and bird calls around my home or in other sanctuaries on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. When the evening light softens, I photograph the remnants of trails, the crackling of twigs, the location of a bird’s song, the whisper of wings—a world full of unseen presence. Each image is unique—made while the bird or animal is in that particular location—felt but not seen.
Some of these images were seen at Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle--Bird Studies, October 3-31, 2008. Curated by Ann Pallesen.
